Product Ordering

When you place an order on our website we shall email you an acknowledgement. Our acceptance of an order does not take place until full payment is received.

Once you have checked out and your order has been confirmed you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the confirm button.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:

• The product ordered being unavailable from stock

• Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment

• The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion.

If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

Made to order products

Please note specific made to order products will be liable to a non refundable 50% working deposit of payment which needs to be made before work will start on the made to order design, the remaining 50% will need to be paid in full before the dispatch of goods, an email will be sent to inform made to order clients on when the final payment needs to be made by. Full payment of a made to order product can be made before the product is completed if the client prefers.

Made to order products are designed and produced in accordance of the design specification agreement sent and agreed by the client, the client should read through the design specifications and product details carefully which will be sent from Kate Mead Designs. Once the client is happy with the design confirmation they should agree to the work through an acceptance email to Kate Mead.

Should any alterations need to be made that are not stated on the original design specification an additional fee of £25 will be charged for each alteration.

If the product cannot be altered to fit a clients new request (something that is not been specified on the original design agreement) the client will still be charged for the full made to order product amount.

If the product is found to be faulty a replacement or repair will be offered. See refund policy on made to order products.

Made to order products will have individual postage and packaging costs charged on top of the product price, these will be stated on the design specification agreement sent out to clients.

Any alteration may delay the estimated delivery date originally outlined in the design specification agreement.

Meeting Deadlines

Kate Mead prides herself in doing the very best to meet all deadlines, in some cases Kate cannot be held responsible for a late delivery of a product due to postage strikes, delivery issues, holiday periods, bad weather conditions and sickness, in situations like this all will be done to get designs/products out to clients as soon as possible and clients will be notified if are any issues that may affect their order.
